Monster -- Dragon Turtle

“There’s one that lives out past the reef there. If you’re smart, you won’t go looking for him. If he’s in a good mood, he’ll drive you off. If he’s in a bad mood? He’ll hole your boat, boil your skin off and maybe eat your first mate for good measure. That’s what they call ‘territorial’.”

Dragon Turtle Lore
A character can learn the following information with an Arcana or Nature check:

Nature DC 15: Common dragon turtles are highly territorial predators that are known to attack fishing boats to get at the fish in their holds and other boats to drive them from their territories.

Noble dragon turtles peacefully inhabit lakes and underground rivers occasionally taking up residence in depositories of information of culture that have fallen into ruin near large bodies of water.

Trulls are gigantic herbivores that lives on salt coasts and only attack to defend their young or when threatened.

Arcana DC 15: Noble and savage dragon turtles can blast their enemies with scalding steam. Noble dragon turtles have great magical power over water that makes their breath weapon even more terrifying.

Nature DC 20: Noble and savage dragon turtles, like most dragons, are not above being bribed. Noble dragon turtles crave new knowledge and stories. Savage dragon turtles crave easy or exotic meals.

Nature DC 25: Noble dragon turtles are possessed of incredible healing capacity when pressed.
